Kawasaki’s Newest
Releases for 2009
Kawasaki put on an incredible Dealer show in
Dallas, Texas this year. This was the
first event of this sort I had ever attended and
I was very impressed.
Their show was held in the convention center of
the Gaylord Texan Resort and Spa, which is
billed as one of the most technologically
sophisticated resort hotels in the Southwest
United States. It was awesome with its 4½
acre indoor gardens, 25,000 square-foot spa and
fitness center, several fine dining and casual
restaurants inside the hotel, as well as night
clubs and sports bars such as the one inside the
Texan Station. I loved the unique
shopping, gorgeous views, indoor and outdoor
pools, the jogging trail and finding the little
vineyard along the pathway in the courtyard.
As much as I travel, it is rare to find a hotel
that could be the destination, but this one is
definitely the exception.
The weekend was an amazing adventure, which
included everything from authentic catered
barbeques and
rodeos to a
shooting range where
we learned how to shoot several different types
of weapons including
automatic rifles.
However, the most exciting part of the weekend,
outside of getting to ride the new Teryx, was
the show itself. In one of the grand ballrooms,
Kawasaki put on a great show that left nothing
to be desired. Many of the new products
were actually brought out on stage and rode down
through the audience for an up-close and
personal experience I will not soon forget.
We learned about all the new products coming out
and of course, the ones of special interest to
me were all the new ATVs.
For a quick rundown, their newest ATVs for 2009
are:
Sport Utility ATVs:
Brute Force 750 4x4i (MSRP $8,199) with digital

KFX 50 (MSRP $1,999) This is another great kids
ATV with a 49cc air-cooled overhead-cam
four-stroke engine. This has a wide 27.6-inch

RUVs: (My personal favorites!)
Teryx 750 FI 4x4 (MSRP $10,899) it comes with
liquid-cooled, 749cc SOHC, 4-valve
fuel-injected, 90-degree V-twin engine that is
noted as the most powerful in its class. It

with the continuously variable transmission.
This is the perfect cross between a side-by-side
and a more trail friendly sport utility quad.
Teryx 750 FI 4x4 LE (MSRP $11,549) It is just
like the standard Teryx 750 FI 4x4 but has added
features including a retractable cup holder, a

also available in
REALTREE™ Hardwoods Green® HD™

Teryx 750 4x4 NRA Outdoors (MSRP $12,149) This
one is like the LE version but comes with Dual Kolpin gun scabbards and Realtree® APG HD™
camouflage to the bodywork, dashboard, roll
cage, hard top, and all four wheels which makes
this vehicle a hunters dream.
Teryx 750 FI 4x4 Sport (MSRP $11,899) It has all
the same features as the other Teryx models
including the 749cc V-twin fuel injected engine
and rugged durability in all aspects. It
is slightly smaller than the LE version, but
with most of the same luxuries, except the cup
holder, sun top cover and half-windscreen.
It does have the sporty aluminum rims you would
expect from a sport edition.
Teryx 750 4x4 Sport Monster Energy (MSRP
$12,199) has all the same specifications as the
sport model but with the Monster Energy graphics
set.
Each of these models comes in a variety of
colors and aftermarket accessories are available
for all of them. For more information on
each of these vehicles, please visit your local
Kawasaki dealership or go to their website at

I hope you are as impressed as I was.
Remember to ride for fun but prepare for the
accident and as always: Decide now to have an
awesome day!
